The art of loving oneself

Is a love that is kind and graceful

By loving yourself

Unconditionally and without judgment

There is only good intent

The very act of self love

Is in effect very selfless

Because by loving self

The very opposite of selfishness occurs

By caring for oneself

One then has the energy and resources

To love and care for others

So taking care of self first and foremost 

Is the most unselfish act one can partake in

Without self love there can be no love

To go around

Loving oneself is the most primal

Of all survival mechanisms

By loving and protecting oneself

Only then can that love

Spread and radiate outwards

Again the more one loves the self

The more love there is to radiate outwards

However when fear

And doubt and anger enter the circle

The self love changes to a different form

The self love needs to come from  loving place

To enable it to spread

Also the circles it meets

Need to be loving circles

Else there can be no synergy

Self love comes first

Through loving oneself

One can love others

By loving others

The love is returned

And in effect multiplies

By the more one loves

So the more one loves

The more the love is multiplied

And the love keeps

Growing and growing

And there is more love to give

So in effect

Once one loves oneself

One has love to give

Once one gives love

The love is returned

Manifold over

The more one loves

The greater the love

That comes back

To the one giving the love

So the love is in a perpetual cycle

An ever-growing circle 

Of constant renewal

And growth

And development

Yet it all begins with loving oneself

With being kind and gentle

Caring and compassionate to oneself

The love one puts into love of self

Then has the power and strength

To grow outward

And circle wider

And envelope more love

And grow

Be gentle

Be kind

Be caring

Be generous

First to self

And then the love

Will grow and radiate out

Self love is the most

Basic act of survival

When practiced in a loving way

It is never selfish

But always selfless

As loving oneself

Effectively

Allows one to love others

Effectively

And so the cycle of love

And the circles of love

Can sustain themselves

And grow

Into eternity
