Circles Of Love

Love is at the center
Of every circle
Love is a gentle unfolding
Of feelings
Of thoughts
Of knowing

Love is round
It goes in a circle
Starting at the center
With self
And self love
The circle widens and expands
As the love
Radiates outward
And grows and grows
The more one loves
The greater the circle grows
The capacity of love is endless
The size of the circle unlimited
The circles of love
Intercept and meet
At different times
And in different places
Within the circle
The more circles there are
The more there is love
Yet always at each center
There is self love
Sometimes the circles
Are very small
And hardly apparent
Due to the lack of self love
Other circles are so vast
And meet with many circles
Of different sizes
The greater the love of self
The greater the power
To spread the love
To share the love
And in turn to feel the love returned
Imagine all the circles
Of love
Waiting to be shared
It all starts with self love
At the center
Then spreads out
Casting a wider rim
The more one loves
The greater the circle grows
And so it perpetuates itself
Growing and growing
As more love
Enters the circle
A mother with a newborn
Shows how the circle grows
The newborn gives love
And the love is returned
And so develops
A mother’s love
Growing and growing
As the love develops
Love is never static
It is in constant flow
There is an elasticity
A flexibility
Pulling this way and
Then the other way
Love has the capacity
To expand in an
Unlimited way
But on the flip side
Love has the ability
To constrict
To retract
To tighten
Forcing the circles to diminish
To shrink
And sometimes cease to be
So circles of love
Meet and intercept
And love is shared
Sometimes the meeting
Of the circles takes place
Within different parts of the circle
And the place of meeting
Is not the same
And so people have
Different expectations
Of the love
They are receiving
And of the love
They are giving
It all depends
On where in each circle
The other circle meets
The nearer to the center
The closer the connection
Yet one circle can meet
Close to one circle
Yet be at the perimeter
Of another circle
Leading to unrequited love
So where the circles meet
Determines the love
That will develop
And whether the love will grow
Love is never static
The circles move and grow
Each person’s circle
Moving individually
Yet together with
All the other circles
So the circles change
And the loves within
The circle
Adapt and flow
With the changes
Leading to different
Feelings of love
And determining
Whether the love will grow
Or the love will restrict
Love is always a circle
With you at the center
It all begins with you
Loving yourself first
And then radiating
The love outwards
Love is a circle
Love is a chain of circles.
Love is round
